Catholic Home Care is a division of Catholic Health Services of Long Island. The agency is one of the preferred providers for the CHS hospitals and associated entities. The company services hundreds of patients monthly for skilled nursing, physical therapy, medical social work, occupational therapy, speech therapy, and home health aide services.
Catholic Home Care is a community based, voluntary not for profit certified home health agency (CHHA). We have been providing skilled professional and para-professional home health care services throughout Suffolk, Nassau and Brooklyn for almost 100 years! Catholic Home Care provides approximately 200,000 visits to 8,800 home care recipients a year. Each day, more than 800 Long Islanders turn to our dedicated team to ensure that their home care needs are being met 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
Services include Skilled Nursing, Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, Speech Language Pathology, Nutritional Counseling, Medical Social Workers, Wound Care Nurses and closely supervised Home Health Aides.
Our administrative office is located at 190 Motor Pkwy in Hauppauge. We have five (5) branch offices located in Riverhead, Medford, Commack, Carle Place and Brooklyn.

Care has announced the development of its first web site. The
development was a group effort involving contributions from
all areas of the company. The site address is nshc.chsli.org
and is readily available for patients, their families, business
partners, and other interested persons to learn more about our
organization.

Our services are accessible with Medicare, Medicaid and most private insurances. A sliding scale fee is available and services are provided on the basis of need, rather than the ability to pay.
